Recreational Place Review: Avilon Zoo

Despite the news that I heard from the previous week, (a girl was bitten by one of it’s resident snakes) I would still give this recreational place a thumb’s up. This place is located in Rodriguez, Rizal. Boasting of a seven hectare habitat for all those awesome animals. I really have to give it to this zoo.
Entrance fee was more than PhP200/head, but it was worth every penny. You will need two solid hours to get around it, and boy it is all worth it. One should get around with a tour guide though. You wouldn’t appreciate all the wonderful facts about all those hundreds, if not thousands of animals as much as when you have someone to explain and introduce you to all those wonderful creatures.

Events Place Review: Mango Farm

I have heard of this event’s place quite a number of times, but it was only last December that I got to actually “experience” the place. The place is nice and cozy, perfect for that small wedding ceremony. They do keep their restroom tidy. This is a major thing to consider for those who are thinking of an events place. It’s outdoor, so definitely you would have to expect bugs especially in the evenings.
Their caterer is among the top notch that I have come across. The room where the bride waits can get a little crowded. Especially when you think of the bride and the make up artist doing their thing before the event. But I should say, the one who manages the place certainly did a good job in creating the feel that Mango Farm has. It’s naturally cozy. The rural feel completes the perfect romantic wedding atmosphere.
Mango Farm is located inside Kingsville Court Subdivision, along Sumulong Highway in Antipolo City. Around three kilometers away from Masinag, Marcos Highway.

Resto Review: Razon’s

This is one top notch place for those who are eating outside but would rather do without having to go to those regular fast food place. In this photo are two of my favorites from Razon’s: Sizzling Bulalo, that costs just over a hundred bucks and their famous halo-halo, which costs sixty bucks plus a pop.
Razon’s has definitely defined the next level to fast food eating!

And Yet Another Sign

I went out with friends last night and strolled down the long strip of Marikina River Park. This warning sign hanging on one of those stores just caught me off guard and I just had to look at my friend in disbelief how blatant it was written, not to mention the funny “barok” Tagalog.”Anyone who is caught stealing will be thrown over the river, whether he be a child or not.” That’s what this sign says. But I just can’t translate any how I try the way it was written. It is that bad. Just when I thought that I have had enough share of unbelievable signs, then here comes another one all along.

Ridiculous Signs

“Barya lang ang natitira sa kaha”
(only a small amount is maintained in the cash register)
“Wala sa istasyon ang susi ng kaha de yero”
(key to the safe is not available on site)

How’s this for a funny explanation of gas station owners pleading robbers to keep off their gas shop? I have seen this a number of times whenever we gas up and has never ceased to make me think how ridiculous this poster is. This display is placed outside the cashier booth.

I would of course understand the desperation of the management and they would really do anything to emphasize their point. It’s still funny if you ask me.

The First Step to Managing Your Wardrobe

Know yourself!

Physical ———- created by habit

3 BODY TYPES:

1. ECTOMORPH

2. MESOMORPH (standard)

3. ENDOMORPH

What better way to choose our wardrobe than knowing ourselves first. This is essential to be able to pick out the clothes that would rightly fit. I have seen countless of people ramp with supposedly ultra fashionable wears without considering if what they wear fit them. The issue is entirely beyond fashion.

I should say though that what a person wear does not dictate who he or she is, here’s just a suggestion to do better in managing your wardrobe and maybe rethink and consider the diet that we have. Choosing to live healthy goes a long, long way.
