My love affair withCiao Bella is replaced by Angelati Italia Gelato, for a reason. I first came across this yummy gelato treat in Megamall and have not seen any other branch aside from it. I dropped the madness I once had with Ciao Bella as soon I tasted my first Pure Pistachio Angelati Italia Gelato.
The smoothness of Angelati Italia Gelato is undeniable. I tried Pagliacci’s gelato in Podium but it just does not measure up. The fact that this heavenly gelato is almost sinless and low fat unlike your regular ice cream, you can actually allow yourself to indulge without having to grab an appetite suppressant.
This gelato is priced at P450-550/liter, depending on the flavor. This photo is taken via my E63 mobile, I’ll make sure to bring my trusty cam the next time I get my next tub and another review on another flavor. Angelati Italia Gelato tops the list of my favorite things.

As I look into the site, I saw some facial massage videos which could come in handy. They also have one of those face massage clips and I am very curious about that. I have been doing self facial massage for sometime now and I wonder if I am doing it right. It has been a while since I was last blown away by a movie. I was one of the invited bloggers to watch the premiere of the movie “Taken.” Thanks to the people behind Viva Entertainment and Wave 89.1 who sponsored the premiere night. I have been hearing a lot of good reviews from people about the movie. It was heart pumping through and through, to say the least.It was right to be given a rating of PG13 because of the violence and a handful of disturbing scenes about the reality of prostitution. I would have to give the makers of this movie credit fordecrying the ugly horrors of women trafficking, even that of the trashy politicians in a society. As much as this fact was very well relayed in the movie, the solution that was applied to the underlying problem was pure fantasy that only Hollywood can offer. I was thinking the whole time that Liam Neeson portrayed one half 007 and one half Jack Bauer of 24. He pulled it off with ease, no doubt and the makers were successful in bringing out whatever emotion they wanted their viewers to have during each and every scene.
The movie was all heart. From the pitiful circumstance of a retiree who chose his career over his family and how his ex-wife practically makes things harder for him even as he tries to get closer to their daughter. The motivating factor of the father to do everything that he did was love, no less. Only it was from a former CIA agent who makes his moves with exact precision. A deadly combination.
It is hard to imagine that anything as close could happen to anyone, let alone your very own daughter. How Neeson broke the necks and skillfully smashed the throats of the bad men and all his killing spree – shooting one man after another – makes it almost impossible for anyone watching to even drop a tear. The fight scenes, were so intense that almost gives you no chance to breathe.
As much as the movie was a good one, when I go back to reality I cannot really agree with Neeson’s “the end justify the means” system. But it did give the viewers surging adrenaline through and through. I guess I have made that clear from the start, have I?

It was through Azrael that we were able to cover the Philippine International Jazz Festival Event in Eastwood Mall Central Park. The Black Gospel Choir was already singing when we got there. The response from the crowd was obvious, they were enjoying themselves with the Jazz worship that this group is offering. The spontaneity of the worship leader and their arrangements were hit. This is one of my favorite from their repertoire. Their reindition ofShackles (Praise You) by Warryn, Erica and Trecina Campbell.

After the Black Gospel Choir, Juan Isip came in to perform their numbers. It was then followed by Logic, which I also immensely enjoyed. This world renowned Australian jazz band played jazz like no other, very unique with a contemporary sound. Watching them perform makes one think that they are really just having fun playing.
I love the fact that Eastwood is opening their doors to international performers and displaying all this wonderful artists. We were later toured around the mall by Tinay, the marketing officer of Eastwood City. It was not actually the first time that we went there, but it sure was the first time that I actually appreciated the superiority of Eastwood compared to malls I have been to.
There were at least a couple of shops (Haze and Luca) that as of now are only exclusive in Eastwood. This mall alone boasts of a free butler service to be with you as you shop or even carry your pet for you. Eastwood Mall happens to be the only pet friendly mall as far as I know. Don’t get me started yet how spectacular their movie house is, because it will sure blow you away. I guess it would be safe for me to say that it is the most fantabulous movie house Manila has to date.
