School Supplies Shopping over at Metro East

school-suppliesFor a whole bunch of the population, school supplies shopping is done and over with at this time of the year. But for us, homeschoolers (having a more flexible time), we practically have time in our hands.

Another benefit that we recently experienced is not having to call a “no class day” for just about any reason. While schools all over the metropolis are suspending classes, if not for the H1N1 virus scare, the typhoon crisis- we were right at home treading the waters of Preschool with Ace and Christi.

Homeschoolers do the school supplies shopping and we enjoyed it through and through. We did that early last week. We jumped from one bookstore place, NBS to office warehouse where we got my son’s cork board, globe and other office furniture. These office and school supply stores just have the same or very minimal difference in prices. While office warehouse in Robinson’s Metro East have a friendlier layout than NBS. As expected, NBS can be pretty cluttered because of a lot of children’s supplies and knick knacks for school. Having both of these in one establishment benefits the public in comparing prices and shifting from here to there to check for items availability.
