EVENT OBJECTIVE:
“When you or someone close to you suffers from cough with phlegm, you want to solve their problems in a caring and effective way”
The “Bisolvon bilis – alis ubo ng Pamilya” Family Day was organized as part of the brand’s efforts to strengthen Bisolvon’s image as the “Family cough medicine” that families can trust through the years. Over time, the brand has been recognized as one of the pioneers in the cough medicine industry, as it has proven its value through the years, already existing for more than 4 decades today (40+ years).
Given this, the event held last July 3 – 5 in the SM Mall of Asia was slated to further establish Bisolvon as the “family cough medicine” by encouraging families to spend quality time bonding with each other through joining the three-day “Bisolvon family day”. In the process, this will thus re-acquaint the doting mom – and – kid pairs to the family brand that is Bisolvon. Through this effort, the brand hopes to forge a strong attachment of the brand’s identity to the idea of being the cough medicine for the whole family.
Apart from this, the event also served as the launch of the quarter – long below – the – line activations of Bisolvon, which will be in the form of school road shows, barangay roadshows, and pharmacy roadshows.
EVENT DETAILS
A section of the Mall of Asia, the area by the skating rink, was transformed into one exciting family day activity area, as the venue was molded into looking like an indoor playpen for little kids. Here, families were able to enjoy several activity sections such as: Scrapbook-making section, Family portrait section, and Family bands-making section. Apart from all the bonding activities inside the activity area, a special program was also held when the clock struck 3pm on the main event of the family day, Sunday.
The afternoon’s program consisted of several fantastic activities which surely brought in lots of gleeful smiles and hearty laughs from the participant families. Such activities included various exciting parlor games prepared for the mom – and kid pairs, which consist of: Pin the Bisolvon Bottle on the Baby, Stock the Boxes Relay Game, Longest “Thank you Bisolvon”, and Bisolvon Scrambled Letters. Apart from the parlor games, magicial – slash puppeteer Maurice Supetran also graced the afternoon with his presence, providing enjoyable entertainment for the young ones, and those still young at heart.
Moreover, the awarding ceremony for the Family bands – making contest also commenced within the program, as the kids who submitted the top 3 Family bands were awarded with special trophies from the Bisolvon team, as well as entrance stubs to the Bisolvon Culminating activity set on September. The semi – finalists for the other two contests, on the other hand, namely: Family Portrait Contest and Scrapbook – Making Contest, were also announced, the winners of which to be decided on the Culminating activity.
To cap the program off, celebrity mom and host for the afternoon program Ms. Regine Tolentino formally launched the Bisolvon Bilis – alis Ubo ng Pamilya Roadshow series by announcing the dates and the specific areas which she, together with the Bisolvon barkada, will be visiting for the coming 3 months. Such which are still part of the Bisolvon bilis – alis Ubo ng Pamilya quarter – long below-the-line activations. The three-legged roadshow series are set to visit the key cities in Metro Manila such as Pasay (July 7 -12), Makati (July 14 – 19), Manila ( July 21 – Aug 2), Pasig (Aug 4 – Aug 23), Marikina (Aug 25 – Sept 6), and Quezon City (Sept 8 – Sept 27). Set to visit various schools situated in Metro Manila, the first leg of the roadshow series will be held during all Tuesdays from July – September. This school roadshow will be targeting mom – and – kid pairs during the dismissal time of the gradeschool students, as the visiting Bisolvon team, together with celebrity mom Regine Tolentino, will be conducting impromptu Q & A’s to moms who will be picking up their little ones from school, and granting them chances to win various premium items from Bisolvon. Moreover, an intra – school Bisolvon drive will also be conducted, wherein the grade school level who can recover the most number of Bisolvon boxes will also be awarded with special presents from Bisolvon at the day of the Bisolvon team visit. A redemption booth will also be put up, wherein moms and students who can present Bisolvon bottles get a chance to win Bisolvon premium items.
Bisolvon bilis – alis Ubo…sa Barangay!
From the local grade schools, the Bisolvon team will also be visiting several barangays within the aforementioned key Metro Manila cities on thursdays. With celebrity mom Regine Tolentino, a roving recorida will raid selected barangays to conduct house – to – house raids, wherein the household who can produce a Bisolvon bottle on the day of the Bisolvon team’s visit will win special gifts from Bisolvon.

The third leg of the roadshow series will commence on Saturdays and Sundays, to be held in selected Mercury Drug branches, still within the key Metro Manila cities. Similar to the school raid, impromptu Q & A portions will also be done, this time to customers of the selected Mercury Drug branches. Apart from this, a redemption booth will also be put up, wherein customers who will be buying Bisolvon products get a chance to redeem Bisolvon premium items.
