To help a soon to be homeowner choose what kind of tiles to use on a house construction, the kind of tiles should be looked into. Tiles come in different textures, not necessarily different forms. Most of them come in squares.

Here is a list of types of tiles:
1. Ceramic tiles – are the most common ones. This may either be glazed or unglazed. These tiles  are used on walls and floors.
2. Quarry tiles – originating from United Kingdom and is made of natural clay.
3. Natural stone tiles – the most of common of which is the granite and marble.
