Schedule of payments

When paying for insurances, whether for government contributions like social security or health coverage insurance, we decide on a schedule where it will be more convenient for us to pay. That is, if you are on voluntary status or the insurance coverage you subscribed to is not one of your benefits as an employee of a company.

For someone who has been paying on a voluntary status on both accounts, I have found that the semi-annual payment scheme works best for me. Going to the bank to pay up premiums can be a hassle, quarterly won’t do it for me as well. Because even if I tried, I tend to forget. The semi-annual is the best option for me. For some reason, the mid-year and end of year events set and automatic alarm in my head to get things done. That way, I don’t have to miss out paying the social security disability insurance premium and other payments I need to make.
