I have been using this Eee PC Karim Rashid netbook for 4 months now. It is powered by Windows 7, no less. No kikay girl will deny its gorgeous built. I still gaze at it sometimes and just smile. Pink is just so me! I love it to bits. I love the finish that the well renowned Karim Rashid has given this netbook.

As someone who works from home and totally dependent to the efficiency of my internet connection, it is utterly frustrating to have to call your provider every so often. Even the rebates that they promised to give us because of the failed connections for days, even weeks at time, we would have to keep bugging them about. And time isn’t really something I have so much of. I’m currently thinking of getting a cell signal booster. I hope it is something that could help me significantly. It’s either that or I’m switching to Wi Tribe soon.

There are a few reputable ones, but there are also rookies that hope to also make it big. Suffice it to say, it is always to lean towards the already reputable ones. Let’s say for EBay, I make sure that before I transact and send the seller my hard earned dollars, he has got to have that Power Seller badge besides his name, or no business for me.

This is not a paid post. I have been with Host Gator for some months now, the hubby a while longer (more than a year). The info I got from the forum: We are currently experiencing an outage affecting multiple servers located with one of The Planets Dallas datacenters. We are aware of the problem and working closely with The Planet to resolve this issue as soon as possible. The Planet’s Dallas Phase 1 DataCenter has experienced a failed UPS, resulting in a power distribution issue affecting a large portion of that facility.The facility’s management team is on site and working to correct the issue. We will have further updates as soon as they become available.

Needless to say, I was chatting with Anthony Ca (Host Gator tech support representative) when I reloaded the forum thread http://forums.hostgator.com/network-outage-t61649.html and found out from the rest of Host Gator users’ sites are already back up.  I just need to say that this is what customer service should be like.  While most webhosting companies will go into hiding when something bad comes up, Host Gator “faces” the music, with my concern being addressed through and through.  Thanks again to Host Gator.  Keep up the good job!

What happened to this person I know was scary, to say the least. It is something that should not happen to anyone at all. It is wise to look into some kind of identity theft protection, just to be sure. Aside from this, one should also look into their contacts in social networks, making sure you know these people personally. Take note to upload photos as well using some degree of privacy settings. By the year, there are over 9 million people falling victim to identity thieves. A scary figure, but true. Better be safe than sorry.

Restaurant City is a flash Facebook application game wherein you get to run your restaurant and hire people to be your staff, assign who is going to be cook, waiter and cleaner. You can also decorate your own resto and level up as you go. The game is pretty easy to navigate. Very user friendly. The most exciting for me was decorating my restaurant’s facade and its interior. There are also downtimes as Restaurant City is still in Beta.

Online games can be really fun. Plus with Restaurant City, you don’t have to worry about diet supplements even if you stuff up your workers. It is impossible that they will have a need for it. Given that I have them work 24/7. Haha! There are a lot of fun things that you can do within your restaurant, except that when I started losing coins, even if my staff were not in 0% yet, I totally got turned off. How on earth was I to upgrade my restaurant’s look without moolah, right?

As with other online games, RC can be pretty addicting. I should know. I would even login via my mobile whenever I am alongside my laptop, even waking up in the middle of the night just to feed the staff. Now that I have gotten over the hype is when I realize, it’s just time wasted. FarmTown is way better. Atleast with FT, I get to choose to plant seeds that need harvesting after 4days. Plowing and harvesting too is easy peasy because I can hire neighbors to do it. Now I’d rather stick with FarmTown on Facebook, than Restaurant City.
