When pitted head to head, it is easy for consumers to conclude right away that Magnum is better than Cookie Monster. Because of the Belgian chocolate? I was skeptical myself, when I saw Magnolia Ice Cream’s Cookie Monster. For one, I thought, how could a 18 peso frozen delight match with the Belgian class. But truth be told, I personally find Magnum extremely sweet for my taste. It was just way over the top. It could really use some trimming down on the sugar ingredient.
The first bite was enough for me to conclude that Cookie Monster is more than just the good enough alternative to to Magnum that’s thrice the amount of the former. Don’t just take my word for it. Try it for yourself. You can thank me later.

I have been to Sushi King twice and each visit was pleasant. We were first disappointed when we went to dine in Oody’s and found out that it was replaced by this Sushi King establishment. I love that this food place is providing alternatives to other Japanese fast food place. What’s nice about Sushi King is that they offer good dishes with pretty bigger serving that your usual fast food place, at very affordable prices. Like this miso soup for instance. It was only P27 ($0.57).
