Skin Care Review

Our skin is the largest organ of the body but it is also the most taken for granted one, whether we admit it or not. This is why we should not be at all surprised when we get skin diseases here and there. While there are things in our environment that we cannot exactly have control over. Like the free radicals, the pollution, there are still things that we can do from our end.

The Acne Solution that Works

As the author of a beauty blog – KikayCorner.net, I am also a merchandiser of organic thanakha in the online store of that same blog. This is the one time that I wish I have taken pictures of “the before” organic thanakha acne treatment that I had my cousin use. Kikay Corner is an official distributor of the wonder product.

You might want to check out for yourself its benefits via the internet. As for my cousin who has been suffering with facial acne since her adolescent years, her face is now clearer than ever. She has used a handful of different products in the past but never had this good result.

BioEnzyme Lotion Review

bioenzyme-lotionThis is the best organic lotion I have used so far. It significantly toned down mine on the second week of usage. It has natural sunblock and best of all, it uses the power of enzymes like its name suggests. I only used a couple of bottles almost after a year of giving birth. Have I used it sooner, I’m positive that it would have taken care of every mark altogether.

Here’s the blurb from the Bioenzymeplus page:

Fortified with botanical extracts it moisturizes and rejuvenates dry skin, evens out skin discoloration, lightens skin tone, and erases stretch marks.  It also has natural sun block to protect the skin from the sun.
Ingredients: Natural papaya soap extract, marine derived moisturizer, Vitamin A and E, different oils, natural fruit, enzymes, with natural sun block and whitening herbs.
Directions: use as often as desired.

A 200ml bottle costs less than 300 pesos (distributor price). That’s roughly $6.50. I still have to check with non-distributor price.

Face, Scalp, Neck and Shoulder Massage Video

If you want reputable and award winning videos, try checking out Video Shelf. They have a wide collection of different self help videos. One personal favorite is The Ultimate face, scalp, neck and shoulder massage. It takes care of the problem that stress usually attacks – the head area.

As I look into the site, I saw some facial massage videos which could come in handy. They also have one of those face massage clips and I am very curious about that. I have been doing self facial massage for sometime now and I wonder if I am doing it right. As for chemical peels (which they also have), it might be the type that women who would like to leer away from more invasive procedures.

Anti-Mosquito Review: Ilog Maria’s Sting-less

I have been using this on my son for several years now. I have been an avid fan of Ilog Maria products. This is so doing well protecting my son from mosquitoes every single day.
Sting-less is a Citronella Mosquito Repellent with Propolis. It safely repels mosquitoes and other insects with natural plant and fruit oils that have pleasing smell that lasts for hours. All you have to do is apply it on clothing and less sensitive areas of the skin. The Propolis ingredient provides antifungal, antibacterial and antiviral action.

A 50ml bottle costs Php 71.50 and it lasts more than a couple of months or even three. I really am not sure, I am not keeping count. It is very practical and effective. I admit to still try other anti-mosquito brands when I see one from the store that would claim to be all natural, but this is the brand I always go back to. It is very gentle on my son’s skin aside from it’s guarantee to be all-natural.

Toiletries Review: MET Tathione Soap

No, this is not a paid advertisement. I felt compelled to share the benefits I have personally experienced from having used this product. If you would check my other personal sites here, here and here, you will understand that I have had some health challenges recently (hospitalization), one of which is some allergic reactions from medications prescribed to me.

I sported rashes for more than two weeks and all those anti-histamine and steroidal meds did not do me any good until I used this soap. I am not sure if any of the factors listed below have helped me but the effect was almost instant. The first day after I used it, the rashes calmed down (ceased bulging) and on the second day they completely cleared out. I can never be happier. I am sure it was the soap and not the meds because I stopped taking the meds already despite the doc’s advise and went ahead to use the soap instead. Although the buying of the soap was a total accident because I grabbed the soap seeing from the drugstore label that it was just more than a hundred bucks and when I went to the cashier it was almost PhP 400 ($10). Pricey but well worth it.
